Love Love Love Black & White Wedding Photography

Ive been a wedding photographer for over 15 years now. Seen trends come and go. What never loses its appeal are classic look of B&W wedding photographs.

There is timeless magic in these images.

I recently purchased probably one of the slowest focusing cameras I have ever used! Yet it quite possibly is my most favourite camera I have ever worked with so far!

Fujifilm GFX 50sii coupled with the Fujion 55mm 1.7 lens. Amazing combination that give instant results straight out of the camera. The depth of field synonymous with medium format is clear to see. The in camera film simulations that 'finish' the images before you've even downloaded them is just magical. I continually have to show guests and my couples the back of the camera as the images blow me away and keep my love of photography so fresh and exciting.

So at my weddings moving forward I now have 3 cameras around my neck! One Canon R5 with the 28-70 f2, another Canon R5 with the Sigma 105mm f1.4 and pride of place in the middle is the Fujifilm GFX 50s ii with the 55mm 1.7 lens. The Canons are set to capture raw images, however the Fuji is programmed to capture amazing b&w jpegs ready to send to my clients!

Here are just a few of my most recent weddings captured in black & white:

After each wedding I produce stunning bright colourful wedding photographs but I am also providing a handful of beautiful black & white fine art images as well!
